Mabel Lake water advisory rescinded

Turbidity levels return to normal following lengthy advisory

Some rural customers can safely drink from the taps again.

The Regional District of North Okanagan – Mabel Lake Water Utility in conjunction with Interior Health, has recinded the water quality advisory for customers supplied by the Mabel Lake Water Utility.

Turbidity levels have returned to normal (less than 1 NTU). Water quality monitoring has shown the water supply has returned to a “GOOD” rating, allowing for this water quality advisory to be rescinded.

Staff continues to monitor water quality and work closely with IH.
