Some Vernonites may have had their last-minute Christmas deliveries stolen before they could open their mailboxes.

On Thursday, Dec. 24 at least two Canada Post mailboxes were broken into on L&A and Baker Hogg roads.

“Package boxes broken into, locks are all broken,” one resident said. “Hoping no one’s Christmas gifts were taken.”

This is the second time this year that these specific boxes have been targetted.
