What would you say if you had 30 seconds of face time with B.C.’s premier?

That’s the question for 30 local business people who will have the opportunity to “speed” network with Christy Clark next Wednesday prior to a Chamber of Commerce networking event in Kelowna.

Local business people planning to gather for the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce’s monthy Business After Hours event will not just have each other to rub shoulders with. They will also have the premier.

The chamber, B.C.’s second largest chamber of commerce, has announced Christy Clark will attend the business networking event at the Laurel Packinghouse March 20.

The chamber says while the regular event will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is open to anyone who buys a ticket, the first 30 people who register will get a special 15-minute opportunity to “speed” network with the premier prior to the rest of the attendees being allowed in.

While registration is required for the special 15-minute session with Clark, there is no need to register for the main event, says the chamber.

Tickets for the event will be available at the door and will cost  $10 each for chamber members and $20 each for non-members.
