Richmond RCMP is looking to identify the driver of a car who allegedly approached a girl and offered her a ride.
A girl was walking in the 9400-block of Glenallan Drive on Tuesday (May 14) around 8 a.m. when she was approached by a man in a vehicle. He “tried to verbally engage” with her and offered her a ride, Richmond RCMP said in a release Wednesday.
The vehicle, described as a silver two-door coupe, was last seen travelling eastbound on Bakerview Drive.
The driver is described as a South Asian man, in his mid-30s, with a trimmed beard and buzz-cut hair.
Anyone who was in the area and has dash camera footage or information is asked to contact Richmond RCMP 604-278-1212 and quote file number 2024-15008.
