Man cashes ‘high quality’ forged cheques from Langley university

This man is accused of doing a good job of forging Kwantlen Polytechnical University cheques and cashing them, say Langley RCMP.

Langley RCMP are looking for a man who managed to cash $11,000 worth of forged cheques from the payroll department of Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

Police spokesperson Cpl. Holly Marks said the suspect has been cashing “high quality” forged payroll cheques at cheque cashing stores from the beginning of August until September.  The monies have been debited from the payroll department at Kwantlen.

“To date, police have been unable to identify the individual cashing the cheques and are asking the public to study the surveillance photograph and call Langley RCMP if you are able to assist with this investigation,” Marks said.
