A man in his 40s has succumbed to his injuries after an accident on Okanagan Lake, near Traders Cove, Saturday night.
West Kelowna RCMP received a report of a personal watercraft accident shortly after 8:25 p.m. Saturday.
The investigation thus far has determined that an adult male in his 40s had been riding a personal watercraft and was located in the water with trauma to his head.
He was taken by a Kelowna Fire Department rescue boat to Kelowna Yacht Club and transported to Kelowna General Hospital by EHS where he succumbed to his injuries.
When the victim was located in the water, he was wearing a personal flotation device.
The victim’s name has yet to be released; the incident is still under investigation by RCMP.
