SURREY — A man is recovering from his injuries after somebody kicked him in the face while he was sleeping on the ground not far from Surrey Central SkyTrain Station early Sunday morning.
It happened at about 2:30 a.m., near 102nd Avenue and City Parkway.
Surrey RCMP Corporal Scotty Schumann said the victim had been lying down asleep “and a passerby started kicking him in the face.”
Jeffrey Aldsworth, 36, of New Westminster is charged with assault causing bodily harm.
