A man was killed by a falling tree in Delta on the weekend.
On Saturday, at about 9:45 a.m., at 7927 Huston Road on Tilbury Island, the man was struck by a tree while working for Paul’s Tree Service.
WorkSafeBC was called in to investigate at about 10:15 a.m.
A spokesperson from WorkSafeBC confirmed it was investigating and that a man had perished after being struck by the tree.
The spokesperson said it was early in the investigation and that further details couldn’t be provided at this point.
