A man walking over the Sande Overpass was randomly shot with a pellet gun on Tuesday night, report Terrace RCMP.
“The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sept.16. A green 1999 Honda Civic drove by the man when he was shot,” according to an RCMP release sent out yesterday afternoon.
Police believe the same car may have been involved in another incident that took place a short while later in the bench neighbourhood of Terrace.
“At 10:17 p.m. there was a second incident involving a small green car with a loud muffler that police believe may be the same car as in the pellet gun incident. The car flashed its high beams at a woman then quickly accelerated at her twice while she was walking her dog on Thomas St near Hundal Dr. The vehicle then headed down Lanfear Hill,” reads the release.
Fortunately nobody was hurt but they were both emotionally shaken up. We are very concerned that somebody could have been hurt in either of these incidents. We are asking the public for information to help us in this investigation,
says Const. Lori Foster, general duty Terrace RCMP in the release.
