Man stabbed in Whalley

Attacker, who has not yet been arrested, is believed to be known to the victim.

A man has been taken to hospital after being stabbed on in Whalley.

On Thursday, at about 10:45 p.m., Surrey RCMP was called to reports of a stabbing in the 13300-block of Old Yale Road.

When Mounties arrived, they found a 25-year-old man suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital where he is stable with non-life threatening injuries.

Initial investigation has revealed that an argument occurred between two people, a conflict which escalated to a stabbing.

The investigation is still in its early stages, but initial indications are that this incident involves parties known to each other.
