The Terrace RCMP responded to approximately 37 calls for service from January 21, 8 a.m. till January 22, 8 a.m.
During the same time period, 13 people were lodged in Terrace cells – seven of these people were lodged for intoxication.
Downtown Terrace
Group of people partying in a vehicle parked in an empty lot on Atwood St. Police spoke with the group who were leaving.
A fight at Lazelle Ave./Sparks St. The men left prior to police attendance. Checks were done of the area.
Intoxicated man passed out inside of the washroom of a business on Greig Ave. Police arrested a 22-year-old man. Checks determined that the man was in breach of a no consume alcohol condition of an undertaking. He is held for court.
Threats were uttered to a man in a parking lot on Lakelse Ave. Under investigation.
A group drinking alcohol in the Brolly Square Park. The group dispersed prior to police attendance.
An intoxicated man almost hit by a vehicle on Lakelse Ave. Police arrested an intoxicated 46-year-old man.
Intoxicated woman stumbling around the Skeena Mall. A 31-year-old woman was arrested.
Man passed out in a burgundy Honda Odyssey Van on Lazelle Ave. The vehicle left prior to police attendance.
Safeway employee arrested two boys for shoplifting. Police arrested the 17 and 16-year-old boys. An amount of marijuana was seized. They are banned from the store.
Elsewhere Terrace
A man driving contrary to a driving restriction in a green Mazda Protégé.
Assist New Hazelton RCMP with document service.
Loss Prevention Officer of Walmart arrested a 17-year-old boy for shoplifting. Police arrested the boy. An amount of marijuana was seized. He is banned from the store.
A warrant was issued for a 28-year-old man, a 48-year-old man, and a 33-year-old man for failing to attend court.
Drug paraphernalia was seized from a school. The school is dealing with the matter.
Breach of a no contact condition. Under investigation.
Theft of a phone. A man lent a phone to another man and did not get it back.
Intoxicated man in the George Little Park. Police arrested a 35-year-old man.

A black Honda Civic passed two school buses with their lights and stop signs activated on Munroe St. near Caledonia school. Under investigation.
Abandoned red VW in a parking lot on Hwy 16. Attempts made to contact the registered owner.
Police observed a man crawling around in a parking lot on Sparks St, attempting to light a piece of gravel in his mouth like a cigarette. The 37-year-old man was arrested.
Suicidal 42-year-old man. He was apprehended under the Mental Health Act and transported to Mills Memorial Hospital.
A man passed out inside of Mills Memorial Hospital. Police arrested an intoxicated 38-year-old man.
Abandoned cellular 911 call on Scott Ave. An intoxicated man had fallen down. BC Ambulance transported the man to Mills Memorial Hospital.
An intoxicated woman attempting to jump out of a moving vehicle. Police arrested a 25-year-old woman. Checks determined that the woman was in breach of a curfew condition and not to be in a public place when under the influence of alcohol. She is held for court.
Domestic dispute. An intoxicated woman was in breach of a no contact condition. Police arrested the 22-year-old woman. She is held for court.
Domestic dispute. A woman left prior to police attendance. A man was spoken with. No offence committed.
Assist Mills Memorial Hospital with a patient acting in an aggressive and irrational manner. Police stood by and kept the peace. No issues.
Horses on Kalum Lake Rd. Checks were done of the area.
Thornhill
Alarm on Muller Ave. Two people were spoken with. Deemed false.
An intoxicated man causing problems and destroying property. A 38-year-old man was arrested. When gathering personal effects for the man, a woman was found hiding in a closet. Checks determined that the man was in breach of a condition of two recognizances of no contact with the woman when under the influence of alcohol. The man is held for court.
Rural
Intoxicated person being violent and not leaving a residence. Police attended the residence and spoke with the people inside. No issues.
A woman exited a vehicle to relieve herself on the Copper River Bridge then fell down the embankment and is missing. Police arrived on scene. The woman had been located but was stumbling out onto the highway in total disregard for her safety. Police arrested the 50-year-old woman.
Gitaus
Domestic dispute. A man left prior to police attendance. Police located the man walking a short distance away and transported him to alternate lodging for the night. No offence committed.
Police stood by to keep the peace while a person gathered personal effects.
Abandoned 911 call. Police spoke with people at a residence. Deemed false.
