Man wanted for Kelowna robbery arrested in New Brunswick

Fredericton Police Force located Michael Joseph Craswell at a bus depot in Fredericton New Brunswick.

The man wanted for allegedly robbing a Scotiabank in Kelowna on March 21 was arrested on Canada’s east coast last weekend.

On April 16  at 10:41 a.m., the Fredericton Police Force located Michael Joseph Craswell at a bus depot in Fredericton New Brunswick. He was subsequently arrested on the outstanding warrant issued for his arrest in connection to the alleged robbery committed at a Scotiabank in Kelowna in March, said Const. Jesse O’Donaghey in a press release.

Michael Craswell was remanded into custody over the weekend in Fredericton and transported to a Provincial jail in Saint John New Brunswick to await his eventual return to British Columbia. The RCMP are working closely with the Provincial Crown Prosecutor’s Office and the BC Sheriff’s Services for Craswell’s return.
