A 33-year-old man remains in police custody after Saanich police arrested him Thursday afternoon.

Sgt. Jereme Leslie of the Saanich Police said police responded to a domestic incident in the 4200-block of Grange Road just before 11 a.m on Jan. 3. Leslie said crews took the man to an area hospital with what authorities said were self-inflicted wounds.

“This man has been remanded by the courts and remains in custody,” he said.
