Houston RCMP are investigating after the body of a man was found in a ditch on Highway 16 this morning.
A highway maintenance worker contacted police at 11:45 a.m. after he located the body near the Six Mile Brakecheck, about halfway between Burns Lake and Houston.
The man has not been identified and his cause of death is still being investigated.
Police are still on scene and the highway, which was closed this morning, has been re-opened to single-lane alternating traffic.
