A large quantity of illegal drugs was seized by police from a house in Maple Ridge that was raided Wednesday for the second time in less than three weeks.
Ridge Meadows RCMP executed a search warrant at the house in the 12200-block of 228th Street after 2 p.m.
Police said the amount of drugs seized was “substantial” and included crack cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamines.
A 41-year-old woman, who was arrested three weeks earlier, was also taken into custody.
Police said she was scheduled to appear in court Thursday and will likely face additional charges.
“What is particularly alarming is this home is situated in amongst single-family dwelling homes, with a neighbourhood park right next door,” police said previously.
