A Lake Country man is facing drug-related charges in connection with a marijuana grow operation shut down by RCMP.

Lake Country officers, with the assistance of Kelowna police dog services, executed a search warrant Thursday at a residence and outbuilding in the 12000 block of Oceola Road.

Police located an elaborate marijuana growing operation inside the outbuilding, as well as a Hydro bypass.

More than 300 grams of dried marijuana bud was seized.

No one was home during the search but a 58-year-old man was later arrested.

Police officers stated that it appeared the harvest from the crop had already been completed.
