It’s back to the drawing board when it comes to the revamp of the Masset airport, as the village has rejected all proposals. At Monday’s council meeting (Feb. 27), administrator Trevor Jarvis said all the six or seven bids came in over budget. “We’re going to make some changes to the scope of the project and re-tender in a month or two,” he said. “We want to improve some of the building envelope to get better energy efficiency.”Masset mayor Andrew Merilees said a “new time frame will be created and it won’t be open this summer, but I don’t think anyone thought it would be ready for the summer.”
