One dollar from every Big Mac, Happy Meal and hot McCafe beverage sold on May 7 went to Ronald McDonald Houses and other neighbourhood children’s charities. This was one of the most successful years for the local restaurant, raising $971 from customers. Owner Stephen Yeung said he'll match that amount for a grand total of $1,942.
