Throughout the day volunteers from the community will be helping to serve coffee and food to customers, and $1 from every Happy Meal, Big Mac or hot McCafe beverage purchased will go to Ronald McDonald House Charities.There is also McHappy Day pens and tumblers for sale to support the cause, and some toy displays are being auctioned off as well.

Ronald McDonald House is a program that provides a place to stay for families of sick children while their child is in the hospital receiving care. Since McHappy Day started, the event has raised almost $35 million for Ronald McDonald House and other children’s charities.
