Residents in the Milner Heights neighbourhood of Willoughby are organizing an all-candidates meeting for Township council hopefuls this Sunday, Sept. 9.

Candidates will be asked questions related to street and road construction, traffic, parks and recreation facilities, property taxes, and policing and public safety.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions as well.

The meeting will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Milner Heights playground, located just south of 71A Avenue between 209 and 210 Streets.

Organizers say they have invited all incumbent members of council, as well as those who have declared so far. Eight candidates have accepted their invitation to attend.
