Missing Chilliwack woman last seen on Wednesday

Friends and family concerned for Joy-Lynn Leon, 42, who was last seen Sept. 23 on Mary Street

Chilliwack RCMP is asking for help from the public to locate Joy-Lynn Leon, 42, who hasn’t been seen since Wednesday.

Leon was last seen on Sept. 23 in the 9000-block of Mary Street, according to Chilliwack RCMP.

Joy-Lynn Leon is described as an Indigenous female; height 168 centimetres (5’6″); weight 54 kilograms (119 lbs); with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

As investigators search for Leon, they have asked the public to remain watchful for her.

“Police and friends are concerned for Joy-Lynn’s well-being,” according to RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Mike Rail.

Chilliwack RCMP ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Joy-Lynn Leon to contact police at 604-792-4611 or, should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
