After initial investigation, it was determined Saito flew from Kelowna (YLW) to Vancouver (YVR) on Sunday, Jan. 7 and landed around 7:30 p.m.
The Richmond RCMP and Metro Vancouver Transit Police are now helping with the investigation to determine her whereabouts since her arrival.
Saito is a Japanese exchange student in Kelowna and is:
- 5’5”;
- Medium build;
- Black and possibly silver coloured hair;
- Dark coloured eyes.
Kelowna RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in the Greater Vancouver area in finding Saito. They are also asking any friends or associates who may be in contact with her to call the police and let them know her location so they can confirm her well-being.
If you see Saito, call 911 and reference the Kelowna RCMP’s file number
