Oak Bay police say a woman reported missing earlier today was “located safe and sound.”
The Oak Bay Police Department was looking for the public’s help in locating a 78- year-old Oak Bay resident last seen at the beginning of March around Elgin Street and Oak Bay Avenue in Oak Bay.
“The Oak Bay police would like to thank the social media community who identified the photo which led t oher location and subsequent assurance of her safety,” the department said in a release.
