A missing snowmobiler has been located safe and sound.
At 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Vernon Search and Rescue members were called out by the RCMP to assist in the search for a missing snowmobiler in the Hunter’s Range area, east of Enderby.
Information received from the missing man’s friends was that he was somewhere near the Stash cabin.
SAR members headed out and once they were close to the area, they were able to contact the missing using radio.
The man had headed down into an area and could not get out with his snowmobile so had started to walk out.
He was located at about 11:30 p.m. and returned to his vehicle by SAR volunteers.
