A body found in the Fraser River Wednesday morning has been identified as Joginder Mander, a man who went missing earlier this month.
Mander, 64, had last been seen on Oct. 7 in Guildford. Shortly after his disappearance, his family initiated a manhunt.
On Wednesday at about 7 a.m., police pulled his body from the Fraser River.
Surrey RCMP confirm they received a call from staff on the Barnston Island Ferry, who reported a body was washed ashore on the north side of the Fraser River.
Foul play is not suspected.
It is the second body found in just over a week in the Fraser. The first, found mid-October, has not been identified yet.
