More alleged rioters charged from Surrey, Delta and Abbotsford

Crown prosecutors have now charged 78 suspected rioters in Stanley Cup mayhem of 2011

Three more accused Stanley Cup rioters from Surrey, Delta and Abbotsford are now facing formal charges for their roles in the mayhem in downtown Vancouver last June 15.

Walintang Grueso-Ledesma, 38, of Surrey, is charged with participating in a riot and two counts of break and enter.

Brydon Robert Turner, a 19-year-old Delta resident, is charged with participating in a riot and two counts of mischief under $5,000.

And Luke Douglas George Patillo, 20, of Abbotsford, is charged with participating in a riot, mischief over $5,000 and two counts of break and enter.

Crown prosecutors have now charged 78 suspected rioters with 207 counts.

More charges recommended by the Integrated Riot Investigation Team against dozens more rioters are still being considered by prosecutors.
