A motorcyclist reportedly hit a bear while riding down Winchester Road in Coombs on Oct. 16.
The incident occured in the 1200 block at 7:20 p.m.
The 62-year-old man was transported to hospital by ambulance with unknown, but thought to be relatively minor injuries, prior to police attendance, said Cpl. Jesse Foreman with the Oceanside RCMP.
There was minor damage to the motorcycle and no bear was located.
