A motorhome suffered some damage after it was hit by a logging truck in Vernon Wednesday.
Police report the motorhome was struck on the driver’s side by the truck, which carried on after the incident, at the intersection of 48th Avenue and 27th Street.
“Our officers caught up with the truck a few blocks later, near Canadian Tire,” said RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk.
The motorhome suffered damage to the driver’s side body and window.
The occupants of the motorhome, whose hometown was unavailable, were not hurt but suffered some anxiety over the incident.
The driver of the truck is from Vernon.
As of Thursday, no charges had been laid as the accident remains under investigation.
“It’s not quite clear what exactly happened,” said Molendyk.
