Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP are recommending charges be forwarded to Crown counsel in connection with a hit-and-run incident in Coldstream.
A mother and daughter had been out for a bike ride on Buchanan Road shortly after 8 p.m. May 6, when both were struck by a passing vehicle.
The cyclists had a description of the truck but the driver did not stop following the incident.
Several days after, a man turned himself into the Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP detachment.
The mother suffered a concussion and back injury while the daughter suffered scrapes.
