An Edmonton man suffered numerous broken ribs and a suspected broken collar bone after a single-vehicle motorcycle accident Saturday.
The man was going along Highway 6 near Byers Roads, close to Cherryville, when he lost control of the bike in a series of tight corners.
“He lost control when his bike caught the gravel on the shoulder of the road,” said RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk.
The bike went down the embankment about six metres.
The driver was taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
