The Kelowna RCMP received a report of an indecent act at the YMCA, 375 Hartman Road, July 23 just after 6 p.m.

“An unknown man apparently approached an eight- year-old girl and lured her into the family change room where he exposed and fondled himself in front of her,” said Const. Kris Clark.

Just a week since that episode passed, the man returned to the scene of his last crime.

The Kelowna RCMP received a report of a suspect sighting at the YMCA in Rutland, Aug. 2 at 4 p.m.

“The man matched the description of the suspect that had exposed himself to an 8 year old girl the week before. The man fled the scene prior to police attendance,” said Clark.

The suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian man with tanned skin
  • 40-50 years old
  • Thin muscular build
  • Between five-foot-five to five-foot-eight
