MARKET OPENS: The Parksville Museum Farmers Market is up and running. The Parksville and District Historical Society celebrated the official opening of both the museum and farmers market with a special cake and some speeches on Friday. Parksville Mayor Marc Lefebvre and Parksville-Qualicum MLA Michelle Stilwell (above) were in attendance for the occasion. The Friday night market at Parksville’s Craig Heritage Museum will run from 5-8 p.m. until October 9.
