Nakusp RCMP said a 40-year old woman was taken into custody after a search warrant was conducted in the 300 block of 8th Ave NW at around 4:40 p.m. on May 27.
In a statement, RCMP said a large quantity of methamphetamine was found during the search warrant.
RCMP are now recommending to lay a “Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking” charge against the woman.
The woman has since been released from police custody.
