Nanaimo firefighters put out house fire in Harewood

Crews were called to Bruce Avenue scene just before 3 p.m. Monday

Firefighters are busy extinguishing a house fire that broke out this afternoon in Harewood.

Nanaimo Fire Rescue crews were called out just before 3 p.m. to a report of a fully involved structure fire at a house between Bruce Avenue and Shepherd Avenue.

It’s believed that no one was home at the time of the fire and no one was hurt.
