Police say Ryan Harris should be considered violent

Police say a man wanted for violating his release terms should be considered violent.

Nanaimo RCMP issued a press release Monday asking for the public’s help in locating Ryan Michael Harris, who is believed to be in Nanaimo.

He is six feet tall, 190 pounds and has many tattoos, including a blue moon on his upper right forearm and the word “peace” on his left forearm.

“Harris has a previous conviction for assault and should therefore be considered violent,” RCMP noted in the release.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
