The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate 35-year-old Shannon Lettington.

All communications between Lettington and her family stopped in October, which was considered out of character for her. Police were contacted March 4 by her family to help in locating her and determining her well-being.

Lettington, of no fixed address, has been known to stay at homeless encampments throughout Nanaimo. To date, all transition shelters in Nanaimo, and many encampments, have been searched with no results.

Lettington is 5 feet tall, 100 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Anyone with information on Lettington’s whereabouts is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345, and quote file 2021-7423.
