Navreen Gill is running as the Liberal candidate for the Abbotsford riding in the upcoming federal election.

Gill was born and raised in Abbotsford, and is a graduate of W. J. Mouat Secondary. She is a family physician who volunteers to work with acute care COVID-19 patients in a hospital setting.

Gill said she is dedicated to the service and well-being of others and is inspired to be Abbotsford’s voice in Ottawa to champion proactive politics for today and for future generations.

“As a physician, I took comfort in the extraordinary leadership displayed by Justin Trudeau and our Liberal government. I have always been passionate about helping people and I’ve been inspired to help my community on a larger scale by running to be your Liberal MP,” she said.

Gill opened her campaign office on Saturday (Aug. 21) at #3 – 32330 South Fraser Way.

Also running in the Abbotsford riding are incumbent Ed Fast (Conservative), Stephen Fowler (Green Party), Dharmasena Yakandawela (NDP) and Kevin Sinclair (People’s Party of Canada).

The federal election takes place Sept. 20, with advanced voting from Sept. 10 to 13.
