NDP all candidates forum
The BC NDP Courtenay-Comox constituency will be holding an all candidates forum at the Filberg Conference Hall on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 2:30 p.m. All four candidates seeking the NDP nomination for the upcoming provincial election in May are scheduled to attend.
The candidates are Gillian Anderson, Bryce Casavant, Kiyoshi Kosky and Ronna-Rae Leonard.
The public is welcome to attend the forum, but in order to participate in the Jan. 14 nomination convention election, you must be a current provincial NDP card carrier.
There will be two advance polls prior to the nomination convention: Jan. 8 from noon–8 p.m. and Jan. 11 from 4–8 p.m. at the NDP office at 491 Fourth St. in Courtenay.
The NDP nomination convention is set for Jan. 14 at the Comox Community Centre. Registration starts at 1 p.m. and the meeting will start at 2 p.m. The guest speaker will be Alberni-Pacific Rim NDP MLA Scott Fraser.
