A Nanaimo company will assist the Nanaimo Economic Development Corporation develop its brand and logo.
Impact Visual Communication was awarded the $24,700 in a request for proposals process that was shortlisted to four proponents.
The contract will include research, the development of brand standards, a logo, tag line and templates.
According to Sasha Angus, NEDC CEO, the branding exercise will ensure that Nanaimo stands out from other communities that are also hungry to attract investment.
“Nanaimo is in an incredibly competitive field. We are investing in a brand that’s supporting our community and putting our best marketing foot forward,” said Angus. “We are confident that Impact Visual Communications will create a strong and distinct Nanaimo and region brand, ensuring our competitiveness in the marketplace.”
Impact Visual’s work has been recognized internationally with 2012 awards from Hermes and Summit International.
