A new condo development with a unique synergy is coming to the heart of uptown Rutland.

The Eden condo community is being built with the help of Kelowna Christian Center Society (KCC) and the team at Ecora, with a priority to create a synergy between home, school and church.

Founding pastor of KCC, David Kalaman, said that finances gleaned from the Eden project will finance a new school building on the KCC’s property.

“While building these condominiums is the focus of the Eden, there’s an even bigger vision motivating this project,” said Pastor Kalamen.

“To proceed, we had to find someone to partner with. Ecora’s presentation and heart for the community became clear. I am confident that this will be a successful working partnership,.”

Two years ago, the need to build a new school became apparent for the Uptown Rutland community. The Eden condo community will allow the KCC to build a school that will have a focus on Christian discipleship, along with preparing students with skills in technology and entrepreneurship.

“The internet has changed and enhanced the entire learning process. We believe our schools are on the cutting edge with this new technology, and we want to have a building that reflects that and offers options to students in terms of their learning style,” said Pastor Kalaman.

The Eden will be made up of 50 modern residences and feature one and two bedroom condos in Kelowna’s uptown neighbourhood.

The building, located off Highway 33, will be just a short drive from UBCO and has quick access to Big White.
