Two well-known North Okanagan businesses are joining forces.
Baron Insurance Broker Group and A.E. Berry Insurance are coming together as one operation.
“It just made sense for our two businesses to join forces,” said Barry Amies, Baron Insurance president, adding that there’s a clear alignment of the companies’ services and core business philosophies .
“With the same trusted expert advice we can now offer more locations and a larger team of brokers, plus a higher level of competitive products and services that complement one another.”
A.E. Berry Insurance has served Vernon for more than 122 years, while Baron Insurance has deep roots in the region.
“We see this as a union of two families with long histories in the community,” said Dave Hoyte, A.E. Berry Insurance president.
“That history isn’t disappearing, but is evolving. Customers can still feel confident that the great local service and expertise they have grown to know and trust has just gotten stronger. It’s exciting to move forward with a partner that is so like-minded.”
The new group will operate under the Baron Insurance name, and it now has four locations in Vernon and Enderby.
