Fraser Valley Building Supplies (FVBS), who joined the RONA banner this past June, celebrated the official opening of its store under its new flagship name today in Mission on 7072 Wren St.
Previously operating under the Ace banner, the store has gone through a major makeover and now features the latest in retail innovation in order to offer customers a unique shopping experience.
The Fraser Valley RONA store includes a 25,000-square-foot retail space in addition to a six-acre lumberyard. The newly revamped store has been locally owned and operated since 1992.
“We are happy to unveil our new look here today in Mission and to bring together the national retail strengths of RONA combined with the proven expertise of our FVBS contractor division,” said Dave Nick, owner of FVBS, at the celebration.
Services offered at the Fraser Valley RONA store include installation services, cutting services, delivery and contractor/commercial sales.
The Air Miles Rewards Program will also be honoured for all customers, who can also take advantage of RONA’s financing program through RONAdvantages.
Store manager Rob McDonnell is leading a team of over 90 employees, who are devoted to guiding customers in their construction and renovation projects and to offering exceptional service to retail clients and contractors in the region.
In addition to the store on Wren Street, they also operate a store in Cloverdale. They are a trusted partner of local-area contractors and have plans to widen their retail offering under the RONA banner in order to improve the shopping experience of their customers.
