Mayor Doug Findlater is expected to be on hand to officially open Osprey Park this morning.

Osprey Park, located at 1430 Green Bay Road, is the third new park opened this year in West Kelowna.

The park will include: A children’s playground with safety surfacing, a labyrinth feature constructed in the grass, formalized parking, improved seating and picnic options, removal of angular boulders and concrete debris from Okanagan Lake, extensive landscaping including shade trees, fencing and a high efficiency radio controlled irrigation system.

On June 27, mayor and council opened Paddlewheeler Park, accessed from Pritchard Drive, and on July 16 they opened Springer Park, accessed from Elliott Road in Westbank Centre.
