VICTORIA  – Crowds jammed the inner courtyard of Victoria’s Atrium building on Blanshard Street over the noon hour Friday as the New York based dance troupe STOMP gave a preview performance. The four dancers were in town to promote the series of shows they will be perfomring at the Royal Theatre from August 27 through September 1.

The group is known for their use of ordinary items such as brooms and garbage cans in their percussive dance routines. Tickets are currently on sale through the McPherson Box Office or online at www.rmts.bc.ca.
