NEW DUITS CONTACT
Alice Duits says she now has a new phone number, 236-593-7375, so any callers using the number in the article on page A6 in the Sept. 22 edition of the 100 Mile House Free Press will not have gotten through.
Anyone who can offer a day of construction help, or wants to confirm what else the family needs toward recovering from its July 30 house fire can reach her at the new number above (not 1-250-483-7709, which is disconnected).

ALC LETTER
The Cariboo Regional District board will be sending a letter to the Agricultural Land Commission (ALC) for further explanation about its regulations.
The board will be asking for clarification on the regulation about acceptable use of trees in the Agricultural Land Reserve (ALR), for a clear definition of “agro-forestry” and an update on foreign ownership.
Clarification on these topics will help the board make decisions on ALR applications.
