The public is invited to join the students of Ballenas Secondary and the City of Parksville for the official opening of Nicholls Park at 11 am on June 4. Nicholls Park is located at the corner of Newcastle Avenue and Pym Street.
Over the years, the Ballenas Civics Action Group has worked to revitalize Nicholls Park for the enjoyment of the neighbourhood and this official opening will recognize their contribution to the community. Following the ceremony, Ballenas students will be offering a lunch of BBQ burgers and drinks for a minimal charge.
