The North Okanagan-Shuswap Board of Education will not be receiving the special adviser report before its regular June meeting, scheduled for June 14 at 6 p.m. at the District Education Support Centre.
School District #83 board chair Bobbi Johnson was advised on Friday, June 10 that the minister is still reviewing the special advisor’s report.
Johnson said she is disappointed the board will be unable to report to the public on the special adviser’s recommendations, at typically what is the final board meeting of the school year.
If there is an update on when the board will receive the report, it will be shared at Tuesday’s meeting.
