Golden RCMP are seeking witnesses to a crash on Highway 95 that occurred on Wednesday, April 21 just after 12 p.m.
The RCMP are reporting that it was a single vehicle incident, involving a semi-truck approximately 46 km south of Golden.
Preliminary findings by police suggest that the southbound commercial vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the centre line into the oncoming lane and rolled into the ditch,
stated Sgt. Betty Watson, Detachment Commander for the Golden RCMP.
Our investigators identified there were five occupants in the vehicle at the time of the crash, two of which require extraction by Golden Fire Department officials.
No fatalities have been reported, with police stating that they believe that all the vehicle’s occupants sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

The cause of the collision is sitll under investigation and charges are being considered.
BC Emergency Health Services emergency paramedics responded from both Golden and the Columbia Valley, while its Advance Life Support from Kamloops also responded to the scene
Emergency crews were required to extricate occupants from the commerical vehicle.
The highway, which is part of the detour from the Trans-Canada highway, was closed for just over two hours.
