Traffic was slowed after a motor vehicle accident on Rutherford Road the afternoon of Tuesday, Feb. 27.
The accident involved a Volkswagen Jetta and a Toyota Solara at Rutherford and Brookwood Drive and there were no injuries, said Capt. Mark Schwager of Nanaimo Fire Rescue.
Tow trucks were on scene to remove the vehicles.
