The North Coast Innovation Lab is getting a boost to the tune of $100,000 from the BC Rural Dividend Program.
“We are very pleased with the funding from the BC Rural Dividend Program to the North Coast Innovation Lab,” Devlin Fernandes, senior manager of programs at Ecotrust Canada said.
“This funding supports the build out of the program to bring capacity to the North Coast. This will further enable our goal of supporting tangible, practical projects that build economic resiliency and well-being in Prince Rupert. We’re bringing on two students this summer to work on quick-start projects emerging from community input, and look forward to sharing the work with the community, and advancing local benefits and initiatives.”
